Description
I bought this from Zone VI about 30 years ago and never got a chance to put it on an enlarger--it is like new. The original packing material is missing.Included (see photos):
Zone VI cold light head
Zone VI compensating metronome
foot switch for turning on the lamp during printing setup
a cap containing a diffuser (unused condition) that fits over the 6.5 inch diameter head
a 6.5 inch diameter collar with never-used diffuser, for mounting on an enlarger.
One of two cords from the head, labeled "lamp", plugs into a plug that also connects to a Treadlite foot control, allowing the user to switch on the lamp when setting up the print.
Because output intensity of the lamp depends on things like ambient temperature, there is a second cord from the head (labeled "heater") that is plugged in at least 15 minutes before using the lamp, to preheat the lamp.
A photocell inside the head sends intensity data to the metronome (that plugs into the head), which elicits a series of beeps whose spacing is dependent on the lamp's intensity. These beeps are used to make reproducible exposures.
Everything is ready to use. Feel free to contact me with any questions you might have before bidding. Ships to the continental U.S. only.
Thanks for looking and good luck with your bidding...
