Wolfsohn Dresden Hand Painted Watteau Scene Green Gold Miniature Cup & Saucer
Pretty porcelain miniature demitasse cup and saucer. Both the cup and saucer are decorated with a hand painting courting couple scene framed by green fishscales and gold scrollwork. With gold gilding along the edge, around the foot rim of the cup, and gold highlights to the handle of the cup. Marked on the bottom  with the Augustus Rex AR mark, which was used by Helena Wolfsohn between 1843 and 1883.
Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.
The cup measures approximately 2 1/8 inches wide including the handle x 1 5/8 inches tall.
The saucer measures approximately 2 3/4 inches wide.
This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
