Here is a very beautiful vintage Carl Thieme Dresden porcelain reticulated large tray or cake plate with hand-painted flower basket design. It measures about 12 1/4" in diameter. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It has had some use and there are fine lines visible to surface on very close examination, nothing deep. There is a very small amount of rubbing to gold on outside edge but it still looks great overall. There are a few tiny dark specks in places, done in the making. On the underside there are some patchy areas of light brownish discoloration. These are all in the reticulated area and it appears that the glaze was applied more thinly in this area when the piece was made. A really fine piece. Looks great. Please see photos.
