VINTAGE BLUE BUTTERFLY WING GLASS MOUNTED STONES PIN BROOCH

Description

This is a gorgeous vintage blue butterfly wing glass stone pin.
The large oval stone in the center and the round one on the drop look like butterfly wing but they are actually glass.
These stones are set on a very detailed brass mounting.
There are 4 faceted opalescent prong set stones around the large center stone.
From the top of the piece to the bottom of the drop measures about 2 ½ inches.

In the early days beads were strung on strings and stones were packed in paper, so they may have rubbed against each other and have very, very tiny nicks. Some of the foil may have rubbed off the back of some of the stones, but we do try to send you the best possible.
I usually throw in an extra stone or bead, just in case there is one that is not quite perfect.
We sell old stock that has never been used, but it is never going to look like brand new or imported items.
Brass usually discolors with age, and we do not clean before shipments
