Vintage ALARM SOUNDER w/Base Edwards ADAPTAHORN #374 120volts fire emergency

ALARM SOUNDER
No. 374     ADAPTAHORN      Edwards Company, Inc.      Norwalk, Conn.     U.S.A.
Used alarm, offered as shown and described. When 120 volts AC is applied it sounds a loud buzzing noise, somewhat like it should; but further repair may be needed as indicated below. It seems the electrical components are working.
Approx 7" diameter at the base and 4" tall.  Weighs approx 5lbs.
This was found mounted to the exterior of a commercial building, upon disassembly I removed some insect nests and debris, cleaned the parts as best I could, and removed some paint to reveal the nameplate.
Last few pics show individual parts before reassembly. You can see some of the rust damage, and the thin gasket material was destroyed and not replaced.
The rear mounting plate has rust but it feels solid and sturdy. The circular plate that the sound maker is attached to is heavily rusted and missing some metal at the edge but it does mount securely in place.
