It didn't shine through onto my hand below (at least it didn't look like it, I did it outside on a bright day), I guess something is inserted blocking it. That is all the testing that has been done, you're buying for parts or not working.I'm hoping someone wants this for its age as I know there are newer probably more practical models available. This is apparently around 70 years old. Which, it is in good cosmetic shape.
