    Description

This is an "Automega B-7" auto-focus enlarger for 35mm to 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 negatives. It comes with a large adjustable easel, a fixed 4" x 6" easel, filter tray, 35mm and 3 1/4" x 4 1/4" negative holders, red  swing away filter, original guarantee (no date!), and original instruction booklet.
This is a really nice enlarger. I used it a while but life got in the way; it has been stored dry since. I'll quote from the instruction booklet: "Embodying many innovations of modern design (this enlarger) is precision built to deliver a lifetime of dependable performance." [It has!] "...condenser illumination for prints requiring high contrast... the B-7 represent(s) ...the finest enlarger values available. Enlarging fans who want the ultimate ease and speed of completely automatic focusing will find their requirements perfectly fulfilled in the Automega B-7."
"The new Automega B-7 has ... precision engineered dependability ... PLUS the additional speed and eye-saving ease of truly automatic focusing. With a B-7 you can change print size in seconds. Designed to speed your work, the B-7 keeps the image in continuous focus as you move the projector up and down. Interchangeable lenses custom matched to 'floating action' control tracks assure continuous sharp enlargements of all negatives to 2 1/4" x 3 1/4". The focal length of each lens is determined within extremely close tolerances, and a special track is accurately matched to the focal length of that lens. The enlarger accommodates tracks for three lenses ranging in focal length from 2" 3 1/2". [One track is installed and included.] Overall sharpness is further assured by the thoroughly rigid framework provided in all Omega Enlargers. ...the Automega B-7 also features ventilated condenser lamphouses and condensers matched to the focal length of each lens for maximum evenness of illumination."
Enlarging ratio: up to 15 1/4 times. "Giant prints: Easily obtained by turning projector in a semi-circle 180 degrees and projecting on the floor ... without loss of rigidity often associated with horizontal projection." "Factory-locked alignment of filmholders, lensboard and baseboard prevents distortion and insures over-all sharpness of your enlargements. Locked into position at the factory these parts stay permanently in precisely parallel alignment.
I hope this goes to someone who can make as good use of it as I have.
