    Ilford Multigrade filters can be used above or below the lens and can be cut to fit the filter drawer of your enlarger. The whole numbers printed on the filters correspond approximately to the contrast grades obtained with Ilford graded papers. The lowest number gives the softest contrat and the highest number gives the hardest contrast.
    Filters 00- 3 1/2 have full speed relative exposure
    Filters 4-5 have half speed relative exposure
    Handle filters only by the edges and clean them with a soft cloth or brush (included).
