Saunders/LPL 4550 XLG Dichroic Color Enlarger

Description

This is a lightly-used Saunders/LPL 4550 XLG Dichroic Color Enlarger that is not new, but immaculate in every way. It is an older model of the current top-of-the-line Omega/LPL 4550 XLG Dichroic Color Enlarger selling online new for up to ,800. It comes with an LPL regulated power supply, a lens board with 39mm threads, and is outfitted with a 4x5 mixing chamber. It uses a 250 watt quartz halogen bulb and diffusion system, which allows for shortened exposures. It features a longer column than the 4500-II models, as well as an extended chassis and oversized baseboard for enhanced maximum enlargement capability. The column, baseboard, and chassis are factory-aligned and the baseboard is reinforced with a vibration-dampening plate. The elevation and focussing controls are super smooth and allow for rapid adjustments as well as fine tuning adjustments.
These components will be shipped in three separate boxes and together will weigh close to 80 lbs.
