Presented is this exquisite, German plate featuring as the centerpiece, the portrait of the Duchess of Devonshire. Cobalt and raised gilded 3-inch intricate border elegantly frame this beautiful, hand-painted, work-of-art. The plate measures 10 inches in diameter and reversed is a Richard Klemm Dresden, Germany hallmark used between 1891 and 1914. The Duchess of Devonshire's name is also handwritten on the back.
This spectacular antique, porcelain plate is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or paint flakes.
