RICHARD KLEMM DRESDEN GERMANY ANTIQUE LARGE 3 HANDLED HAND PAINTED LOVING CUP

Description

Up for auction is this magnificent Richard Klemm Dresden Germany 3 handled loving cup.  The piece features multi colored, multi floral grouping throughout.  Raised art Nouveau inspired designs are trimmed in green and gold paint.  The three handles also have a period Art Nouveau feel.  Edges, bottom and handles are trimmed in gold.  The large piece measures about 5 3/4 inches tall.  Fully marked on the bottom with the Richard Klemm Dresden "RK" logo.  Also has a factory # "2243/147".  Finally, it has remnants of the original paper label.  These marks date the piece from the mid to late 19th century (1850-1899).   In excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.  Some wear to gold on handles, commensurate and expected with the antique age of the piece.  Colors are clear and bright.  A great and very rare piece of Dresden porcelain in nice shape offered with NO RESERVE!!
