Eugene Clauss Old Paris Porcelain Floral & Gold Reticulated Bowl C. 1868 - 1887
Rare beautiful reticulated shallow bowl. Nicely decorated with large and small hand painted pink, purple, blue, yellow and orange flowers. With gold gilt scrollwork designs above the reticulation and gold gilding along the very edge. With small hand painted flowers in between the reticulation. Marked on the bottom with an underglaze blue crossed swords mark with an E and a C. This mark was used by Eugene Marx Claus (pre Bourdois & Bloch) in Paris between 1868 and 1887.
Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
Measures approximately 10 inches wide x 2 inches tall.
This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
