For Omega, Beseler, Durst enlargers.
This tool is used to align the x and y axis of the negative stage in relation to the baseboard.
The tool is placed on the baseboard on either the x or y axis
(on most enlargers each axis is done separately)
of the enlarger and the knurled nut on the tool is adjusted to level the bubble in the tool. The tool is then inserted in the negative stage of the enlarger and the enlarger is adjusted until the bubble in the tool shows level. Consult your enlarger manufacturer for instructions on how the adjust the enlarger.
