Dresden Hand Painted Floral & Gold Garlands Footed Tea Cup & Saucer C
Nice Rococo shaped footed porcelain tea cup and saucer.
Decorated with hand painted flowers in pink, purple, yellow, orange, and blue and gold medallions and floral swags.With gold gilt scrollwork highlights along the inside of the lip of the cup and around the foot of the cup. Unmarked. Probably decorated in Dresden between 1890 and 1916.
Has some wear to the gilding and to the floral decoration consistent with age and use, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.
The cup measures approximately 4 3/8 inches wide including the handle x 2 3/8 inches tall.
The saucer measures approximately 5 3/4 inches wide.
This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
