    Description

    For your consideration is a great, antique Ambrosius Lamm Dresden Porcelain cup & saucer, made circa 1887-1934. Ambrosius Lamm was a Top Flight porcelain Decorator in the Dresden region known for his pursuit of decorating Perfection. Fantastic Hand-Painted Courting Scenes, and neat raised Gold Decorations. Also has a neat Decoration of a Bird on a perch, and a Lady with a Dog on a leash. This Set is in Excellent Condition- no Paint Wear, Chips, or Cracks, Gilt decorations are 99%+ intact. There are are a number of tiny smaller than Pin head size Gilt beads that have flaked off the Saucer - see photo’s # 8,9,10. Pretty minor, probably caused by another Saucer sitting on top. Pieces ring true. Marked: Cup & Saucer have Matching Lamm Marks, along with “Dresden Saxany 0283”. Cup has a additional “263” mark. Diameter of Saucer: 5 3/4 Inches. Diameter of Cup: 4 Inches.
